Abstract

This study aimed to identify the respondents’ perceptions about the level of application of talent management strategies at the La Amouri complex in Biskra, and the impact of this on its strategic flexibility. To achieve this, we formulated a main hypothesis including four sub-hypotheses that were tested using multiple linear regression and stepwise multiple linear regression (STEPWISE). We also relied in the statistical analysis of the primary data on descriptive statistics measures (arithmetic mean and standard deviation). . The questionnaire was used as a main tool to collect primary data and statistical information from the study sample of (39) administrative employees. We reached a number of results, the most notable of which are: The level of availability of talent management strategies at the Laamori Complex was average according to the study scale, and the level of availability of flexibility. The strategy came out on top. It was found that there was a statistically significant effect of talent management strategies (as a group) on the strategic flexibility of the complex under study at the level of significance (0.05), and there was also a relatively strong positive correlation between the two variables under study with a value of (0.715), and we find that talent management strategies explained (45.4 %) of the variance in the level of strategic flexibility, based on the value of the adjusted coefficient of determination, which has relatively moderate explanatory power. The study concluded with a number of recommendations, including: The complex must provide various incentives to attract talent, and provide direct communications between talented workers and their supervisors. Also, fixed foundations must be adopted to determine the requirements for employee development plans.
