Abstract

the research discussed the study of the Russian strategic role and its rise in the Middle East region, and the study aimed at the new vision of the Russian strategy, the means of this strategy in the region, and an analysis of knowledge of the challenges and expected gains for the Russian rise in the Middle East region. The researcher relied on the hypothesis that there is a close correlation between The geostrategic importance of the Middle East region and the instability due to the interests of the major powers, this means that the more opportunities available to Russia in the Middle East, the greater its ability to regain its international position The research concluded with the most important conclusions that the current Russian role is in the Russian strategy shifting from a global strategy to a major regional strategy as an alternative to the strategy of the superpower regardless of the intentions or ambitions of Russia. The return of Russia to its presence in the Middle East represented an opportunity for the countries of the region to diversify Its relations, especially with regard to Iran, which has worsened its relationship with the United States of America USA.
