The extent of the impact of transformational leadership on organizational creativity from the perspective of faculty members at the College of Economics and Commerce, Elmergib University

The main objective of the research is to identify of the impact of transformational leadership on organizational creativity in the faculty of economics and commerce Elmergib University, Al-Khums – Libya. The questionnaire was used to collect the data from the study sample which consisted of (79) members، equivalent to 65.83%. The (SPSS) program was used to access the results. Accordingly, set of results were reached, including: That the degree of practice of the transformational leadership dimensions were all high according to the following order (ideal effect, empowerment, motivation, intellectual arousal). The results also showed that the average response to the organizational creativity variable is high. The results of hypothesis testing showed that there is an effect of the transformational leadership dimensions on organizational creativity. The coefficient of determination (0.429) or (42.9%) of the changes is due to the dimensions of transformational leadership, which means that there is a positive correlation between the two variables. The most important recommendations : the necessity for the college administration to pay attention to motivating the faculty members financially in pursuit of its goals, the necessity for the college administration to adopt new styles in management, such as participating in decision-making and following the decentralization system، providing the faculty members with the opportunity to think Creative in solving problems facing the college.
