Abstract

One of the purposes of consumer protection in Islamic jurisprudence is to work on protecting and satisfying his needs according to a complete and comprehensive legal approach to all aspects of consumer life. The concept of the need itself differs radically between the Islamic and positivist conceptions, and accordingly the approach to satisfying it also differs, according to the determinants and components of each conception separately. Islam aims, through consumer protection, to satisfy the basic needs of every individual in society through the production of all requirements, goods and services that meet the desires of consumers of different affiliations, categories, and financial incomes, as well as ensuring their equitable distribution to all consumers, because the consumer’s need is Which controls and directs the production mechanism.
