Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the performance of five Libyan commercial banks include three state banks Al-Jumhoria Bank, Sahara Bank, Wahda Bank, and two private banks Muttahed Bank and Al-Saray Bank, during the period2010-2023. The PATROL model was used to evaluate the performance of the sample. The findings show that there are differences between performance of Libyan banks, and the performance of private banks were better than state banks.
