Requirements of success tourism investment and its impact on promotion of the tourism sector in Libya

Abstract

This paper aimed at shedding light on the importance of the requirements of success in tourism investment and its promotion of the tourism sector in Libya. Survey was created containing of 24 statements. A sample was chosen from 73 offices and tourist companies within the Municipality of Tripoli. The paper reached to several results, the most important which is that (41%) of changes in the advancement of tourism sector due to security requirements. (76%) of changes in the tourism sector are due to the impact of infrastructure requirements. The study also showed that (72%) of changes in the promotion of the tourism sector are due to the impact of financing requirements of tourism projects. Finally, study recommended that there is need to give the necessary attention to infrastructure sector, focusing on the security requirements and supporting investors to be a profitable and beneficial benefit for the investment in this sector.
