A field study from the point of view of academics at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sirte

Abstract

The study aimed to review the conceptual framework for scientific research, the local community, and economic development It also aimed to try to identify the role of scientific research carried out in achieving economic development for society from the point of view of faculty members at the Faculty of Economics, Sirte University .A questionnaire was designed and distributed to the study sample Academics at the faculty of Economics at Sirte University have also resort ted to various references and sources to cover the secondary data, which is the theoretical framework of the study, and to carry out analytical procedures some statistical methods have been used that are commensurate with the nature of the study and its variables, which are represented in the arithmetic mean standard deviation, as well as inferential tests, represented in the test(T) for one sample-t-test ,The study reached a set of results, the most important of which proved the validity of the hypothesis that there is a role for scientific research in achieving economic development in the local community from the point of view of faculty members, Though the results, it is clear to us that there are participants in seminars and conferences A scientific education in nature to reduce the excessive consumption of local resources.
