Availability of the Requirements of Institutional Accreditation Standards in the Faculties of Elmergib University
from the View of The Heads of the Faculties Quality Departments

The main objective of the study is to know the level of Availability of the Requirements of Institutional Accreditation Standards in the Faculties of Elmergib University from the View of The Heads of the Faculties Quality Departments. The population of the study was (22) participants, electronic questionnaire was distributed to the study participants by using Comprehensive survey method. The questionnaire contains all of the Requirements of Institutional Accreditation Standards with all Indicators (168). The data analyzed by SPSS program and self-evaluation by study participants. The results confirmed that the Availability of Standards such as (Educational Programs, Planning, Student Affairs, Leadership and Governance, Faculty Members and Support Staff, Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement, Scientific Research), were average. While the Availability of Standards such as (Facilities and Educational Support Services, Community and Environmental Service) were weak.
In addition, the results of the self-evaluation showed: the Availability of all the Requirements of Institutional Accreditation Standards in the Faculty of Engineering Alkoms, while these requirements did not availability at the Faculties of Languages, Sciences Alkoms, Education Qaraboli, Pharmacy, Medicine, Economics Qarabulli and Physical Education Alkoms. The study recommended: seeking the assistance of experts and specialists in the field of quality to review the standards issued by the Center for Quality Assurance of Educational Institutions to update and improvement them to fits Libyan Educational Environment.
