Abstract

This study aimed to identify the extent of Possibility of Applying the Blockchain Technology in the Libyan commercial Banks, To achieve the objectives of the study, the study followed descriptive analytical method, A precise questionnaire was designed and prepared as a main tool for collecting primary data, it was distributed to a sample of employees in the Libyan commercial Banks in khomes city, the study reached several results, the most important of which are: the study showed working in Libyan commercial
banks in khomes city they are familiar with Blockchain technology and basic applications, The possibility of application the blockchain technology in the banks under study works on reducing financial transaction costs ,Based on the results of the study, the study recommended the necessity of Holding training courses for employees in the banking sector to introduce the blockchain technology and also Increase researches on blockchain technology topics.
