Abstract

This paper aims to idenify the role of organizational conflict in the strategic decision-making through the large health and therapeutic services provided by the Tripole Medical Center in the city of Tripoli in particular، and Libya in general. A set of organizational factors related to organizational conflict has been studied and tested its impact on strategic decision-making in the Medical Center. The research problems was to determine the extent of the impact of organizational conflict factors in the strategic decisionmaking. Statistical software package (SPSS) was used to tested the hypotheses of the study، to obtain infotmation. Special questionnaire for the makers of sttrategic decisions designed to collect data and informationrelated to applied study and distributed to 90 managers. The most important results of the study are the following: 1. The prevailing style of leadership as one of the dimensions of organizational conflict factors in the work environment impact the strategic decision-making، according to point of view of the study sample. 2. The communication systems as one of the dimension of oganizational conflict factors in the work enviroment do not impact the strategic decision-making، according to point of view of the study sample. 3. The organizational structure as one of the dimensions of organizational conflict factors in the work enviroment impact the strategic decision-making، according to point of view of the study sample. 4. The centralized decision-making as one of the dimensions of organizational conflict factors in the work enviroment impact the strategic decision-making، according to point of view of the study sample.
